Is there any real gurantee?

I went to IKEA after the bed frame was broken by its own for no clear reason. This is the answer i took, : "We are sorry sir, we don't have this spare part!" What i should i do now? Just through it?

I offered to buy a new one, same color to match the other parts of the room which is OAK color. The answer i go is" sorry sir, this OAK color is now discontinued"

There is no real customer service, no real support. They products are so fragile. Very cheap wood types...

Monetary Loss: $1000.
